Position:  Substance Abuse Assessment Counselor
Location: 149 West 12th Street Eugene, Oregon
Job Type: Part-time 20 hours per week, M-F 8:00-12:00 noon
Salary:  Hourly $12.00-$14.00 starting wage dependent on experience and certification level


JOB DESCRIPTION

The Assessment Counselor is responsible for collecting and compiling sufficient biopsychosocial information to screen for the presence of a substance use disorder, determine medical appropriateness for services, initiate referrals and document the results of findings.

Job Type ON-CALL, primarily evenings M-TH

JOB DESCRIPTION

An on-call Counselor provides direct service to individuals in Substance Abuse Outpatient Service. This may include the delivery of services in a variety of environments (group, individual, assessment and referral).
